Complete Home Chest Workout

You want to train your chest at home and got tired of push-ups? With a minimum of equipment you can do three chest exercises that take your chest muscles to the max.

Dumbbell Bench Presses

The general problem of anyone wanting to do home chest training without push-ups is a) no bench, b) no barbell, and c) no rack.

Dumbbell presses come to the rescue, because they work the same muscles as barbell presses and even get more muscles into play to stabilize the movement.

Best of all, they can be done on the floor without compromising too much range of motion. And if you do want to go deeper, you just need a $5 board and a couple of big books:

Incline Dumbbell Presses

That trained the main portion of the chest, but we shouldn’t disregard giving some love to the upper chest. Here again the board helps us out:

The Finishing Touch: Flyes

These two exercises already covered the entire chest, but if you want to take your chest to the maximum, you can now put in an isolation, the dumbbell fly:

I didn’t show it in the video, but you can repeat these inclined to do the same isolation with the upper chest.

Change It Up!

And when you get tired of these, revisit the good old push-up with this complete home chest workout without weights!
