Full Body Workouts Vs. Splits: What’s Better?
Should you be doing a full body workout or split your efforts into different days for different muscle groups? Here is the why, when and how.
Splits Vs. Full Body
I had the question about doing splits or full body sessions come in a number of times and realized I had never properly addressed it in a video.
Therefore, here goes why full body workouts are preferable for beginners and at what point splits enter the equation:
Example Full Body Plans And Splits
As hinted in the video, the best full body beginner workout you can do at home is this one here. Why is it the best? Because it was written by me of course! No, seriously, it takes little equipment and those exercises give you that solid strength foundation.
When you leave the beginner stage, go for this 3-day-split and then change it up according to your needs. A 3-day-split is what I still do and you can see the various changes I make in my (bi-) monthly updates.
Full Body Workouts For Advanced Lifters?
Yes, you can do a full body workout at the advanced stage, but only to shake things up a bit. Don’t do them regularly, because you can’t keep up the intensity. An example for a plan like that I have over here.
