The 3 Greatest Exercises To Build Muscle

So you want to build muscle, get stronger and look better? These three exercises will get you the biggest gains in the shortest amount of time possible.

The Push-Up

Say goodbye to all the exercises that concentrate on just one muscle (group). You need those that train many muscles at once. Nothing is more effective than them.

What makes the push-up great? It trains your chest, shoulders, triceps at the same time and you can easily adjust to your current strength level. Even better, it requires no equipment.

The Pull-Up

If the push-up is one half of a complete upper body training, the pull-up is the other. It involves all muscles the push-ups missed: back, biceps, rear shoulders and forearms. You don’t even need a pull-up bar to do them.

Don’t go thinking you can’t do pull-ups! They too can be made to work for just about anyone!

Lunges

That takes care of your upper body, but don’t forget the legs! The step-up trains the thighs and your bottom, using the back of your legs and your upper body as stabilizers.

Systemize These Exercises

To get the most out of these exercises, use them in a system that allows for enough work and rest to optimize your muscle growth. Here is a home workout plan that does just that.
