Increasing Weights – A Rule Of Thumb
When you discover bodybuilding, you are adviced to use weight that allows you at least 6-8 reps on all three sets of an exercise. Once you are able to do 12 reps on all three sets, you should increase the weight a little starting over at 6-8 again.

Ah, I was searching for an article like this in your site. I tried searching for “How to choose dumbbell weight” but did not find any. I guess my search term is wrong 😀
I think it would be nice if you can also put this as a link / reference on your “Home Workout Equipment” under dumbbell. Might be helpful to those who want to know how to pick the proper weight for dumbbells.
