I&#039;ll add one suggestion based on personal bad experience of mine :-)

Never wear a new pair of shoes or new article of clothing for a long race because you do not know how they can chaff or blister you! Always wear stuff that you know is comfortable because you&#039;ve used it before.]]></description>
