Triceps dips are a really neat exercise you can do at home. You don’t need a bench for them and just have to watch out for where your elbows are.
At gyms you usually see triceps dips done with a bench, but a bit of common sense tells us that any surface we can place our hands on in a similar fashion will do the job admirably. Just make sure that whatever you use as substitute stays in place:
When To Use Triceps Dips
Personally I like triceps dips as my last compound after the bigger chest-centric exercises (dumbbell presses, push-ups) and before a finishing triceps isolation. How I use them in plans you can for example see in my intermediate workout schedule.
