Late Night Eating Makes You Fat?
Is it true that late night eating or eating after x pm makes you gain weight, because it will always end up as extra fat on your body?
Stop Worrying!
No, it isn’t, because when it comes to losing or gaining weight, the point of time at which you eat doesn’t matter.
Your body needs a certain amount of calories to keep its weight steady and only consuming more or less than that will make a difference:
Indulgences
Now it is true that some people tend to, uh, “reward” themselves a bit too much when they settle down in front of the TV for that late night movie. That happens because when your mind is preoccupied with something else, you won’t notice how many pretzels or chips you have already eaten. Then, when the credits roll, the bag miraculously ends up empty.
This can be taken care of by not taking the whole bag of sweets with you on the couch, but metering out a portion that fits within your daily calorie allotment.

i like you man do you like me
Short and sweet, evilcyber. As long as your DAILY caloric intake is that what it should be, it doesn’t matter when you eat them. I think some people (certainly me) have come to the wrong conclusion that a food that disagrees with you, if eaten at night, you somehow think it’s the time of day that’s at fault. Just my 2cents.
You are correct. I get an upset stomach from endives no matter when I eat them 😉
that makes sense!
