You bring up some very thought-provoking points here.I believe the state should educate its citizens as much as possible about nutrition and healthy living, just as it did with cigarettes. (I wonder how a “this can lead to early death” warning label on a packet of twinkies would go over.) And also, especially where children are concerned, make sure that more nutritious food options are available. but then it becomes the right of the individual to ignore that info and overeat cheeseburgers, despite the threat of early death.
