In reply to Dr. J. Yes, the inconsistencies about mode of of transfer struck me too. AFAIK, previous Ebola strains were able survive for several hours on surfaces.

I’m waiting a little more to see how it unfolds before writing about Ebola. One thing that disturbs me is the contradictory information on when and how it can be communicated, as well as the apparent problems at administrative levels.

You always provide an interesting read EC. It is amazing how many otherwise intelligent and rational people I have talked to about ebola with ridiculously irrational ideas.
