The post-workout shake is a ritual of many a gymgoer. But is it necessary?
Check any gym near you and again and again you’ll witness one ritual: guys (and some gals) finish their workout and gulp down a protein shake as fast as possible.
At gyms those aren’t exactly cheap, so is the post-workout shake really that vital? Or is it another of those things people do because everyone else does it?
