OxyElite Pro And Hepatitis: What You Need To Know

Just in January last year we had two US soldiers dead after using OxyElite Pro and the similar Jack3d. Shortly after, the death of a young London jogger followed.

Now OxyElite Pro is again making the news. It is the only connection between 29 people fallen ill with hepatitis, two of them  needing a liver transplant, and one person already dead.

If you have been using OxyElite Pro you now need to find out if you are affected. Because for the unaware especially the early symptoms can look like something completely different.

First Of All, What Is Hepatitis?

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver. In the human body, one of the liver’s jobs is to clear toxins from it, which it normally does splendidly. However, if you give the liver enough trouble, its cells start getting damage and eventually cease function.

There are multiple ways to cause this inflammation and possible complete liver shutdown:

• Several viruses
• Poisons (e.g. amatoxin from eating mushrooms)
• Alcohol abuse
• Overdosing on acetaminophen (Tylenol, for example)
• Side effects from herbal supplements

OxyElite Pro contains several of the last, and what they do isn’t very well researched. Putting them together could also have caused interactions. Then again it is also possible that there was something in the bottle not stated on the label – not unheard of in the supplement industry.

Hepatitis Symptoms Checklist

Anyhow, if after using OxyElite Pro you experience any of the following symptoms, it’s likely that you already are suffering from hepatitis. Stop using the product and see your doctor without delay:

• Fever
• Tiredness
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Headaches
• Loss of appetite
• Dark urine
• Jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes)
• Disorientation
• Swelling of the abdomen

Keep in mind that these are just the acute symptoms. The liver is a very resilient organ and can already be affected when there aren’t yet any visible symptoms.  If you have been using OxyElite Pro and want to make absolutely sure, see your doctor even if you don’t have any of them.

I Won’t Bore You

You have seen me often enough say that the safety of many, many supplements sold today is questionable, so I won’t bore you with it again. Let it suffice to mention that the supplement industry is the pill and powder equivalent of the Wild West.
