Cute, furry animals

Owen mentioned that I need a cute, furry animal here to attract views. And of course there is Freddie, whose occasional appearances in my videos probably have given him more fans than I have.

In the picture on the right we see him at one of his favorite pastimes, pondering the edible properties of lint, but maybe it is also an unsuspecting little bug that dared to cross his path.

But Freddie isn’t always this cute. It may just be a cunning ploy to make him look harmless.

Because after dark he takes up the responsibilities bestowed on his kind since the days of ancient Egypt and he becomes the guardian that keeps us safe from the demons of the underworld:
